Reading Half Marathon
Well done to tfd running club!
The tfd running club has been training throughout the winter months in minus temperatures to get fit for the Reading half marathon that took place on Sunday 21st March. Runners from tfd included Paul King, Jon Davies, Lisa Faircloth, Chris Webb, Katie Wiggins and Lisa Auchinvole, owner of tfd. Everyone finished and some achieved personal best times too. If you think you wouldn’t be able to run a half marathon but would like to talk about what’s involved in the training, ask Lisa or Dave next time you are in the gym.

tfd member Martin Sheen won the 3km gym challenge in August closely followed by Dale Faircloth & Nick Caunter. the challenge was to cover 3km in sequence on the rower, cross-trainer, treadmill and cycle.
My story
over 50 & I dropped 2 dress sizes!
Cynthia, who is in her 50’s decided that 2009 was going to be her year for change! With a new gym programme from tfd instructor Claire and a look at her food diary she has now dropped two dress sizes and looks absolutely amazing!
